Last night, while I was terraforming a world of mine, I came up with an idea for an item incinerator using a dispenser. Check it out:

See, this I didn't know. The system could be remade with Cactus instead of Lava, than.

Well alot of people have a lava pit and throw items there,
but cactus would be more efficient for wooden houses.

This is still interesting and I might have fun with it.
You know, like make my own design.

I don't see why i need a fancy machine to get rid of my stuff. I just dug down 3 blocks, placed sand, dug the nearby blocks, placed cactus, and put a half slab about so i wouldn't fall in.

Design wise, I actually use netherack instead of Lava for the incinerator feel and have it in my house. It goes great in my basement, lol.

Thanks! I might come back to this later and see if I can make it even more compact.

OR you could just drop your excess items any old where and they'll disappear on their own after a short period of time.
An "incinerator" is cute, but I've never had a reason to build one.

That's what I did at first, but I kept having to try and avoid the items I dropped while I continued working (I'm pretty fast paced.)

The incinerator ended up helping a lot.

just not sure why you used a cart and track instead of a redstone pulse ?

I haven't found a way to make the redstone pulse work quite yet on the Xbox 360 Edition. That is definitely on my list of things to do.

Just a tip, don't incinerate all that excess dirt.
You never know when you'll fill up some creeper craters

Very true, which is why I filled a double chest with stacks of dirt before I incinerated what I had.
