I've found an area using the Xbox Slime finder, dug to four blocks above bedrock, and made a 16x16x3 room. When I switched to easy, Slimes didn't spawn, and still haven't. Why is this?
There are a few reasons this could be. 1. You are in the wrong area. 2. There are many dark areas around, spawning other mobs instead. 3. You are waiting too close, or too far away for them to spawn.

Retired Staff1. You're to close for them to spawn, i'm pretty sure you need to be about 25 blocks away for them to spawn.
2. There can't be torches on the floor, it prevents larger slimes from spawning.
3. The room is not lit up well enough.
My recommendation is to click on Fayzed's signature, or find a topic about them.
Aren't they supposed to make slimes more common?
