Im gonna have to start a new world when 1.8 comes out because of all the new features like biomes and such, But im not gonna not play the game for like a month or 2 because im gonna want to make a new world when the next one comes out. Im gonna play in that world and enjoy the new update and features and such. But when the next update comes out i will prob be bored of my old world and wouldn't mind making a new world with a fresh start.
A few days ago I had come to terms with starting a new map, and certainly would have done it for each update, but then I realized I would have creative. With it I'll have access to all future features, no?
However, I voted for a half broken world... mostly to spite the extremely biased OP.
You will have access to the new items with creative, but not the terrain features.
If that gets improved chances are you will have to start a new map for that as well.
I stopped playing the xbox edition a month ago. For the same money you get tonnes more out of the pc version.
Had the market place clearly stated the games' release was 1.6 with a finite map, I never would have purchased it.
But your maps are not "broken". I think 4J's plan to cross creative and standard play is an attempt to solve some of these issues.
Clearly if you want PC "NOW" features, play PC, suck it up, or move on.

Retired StaffThe only issue is finite map size.
