So me and a pal are playing on this world. But all of the nether portals we try building keep linking to the same one in the nether, whether we destroy the one in the nether or not. We've tried all sorts of things. Is this supposed to happen or is this a possible bug?
If you build nether portals too close to each other, they will just keep linking back to the same one. There is a way to prevent it from happening, but I am not entirely sure how it works. I know it involves using your co-ordinates. If someone else doesn't post how to do it, I am sure you can find it on google.
There was a good distance between them but I suppose they could still be too close. Also my friend just went a ways away in the nether and built a new portal. This stuck him in some random cave with no nether portal. But an invisible wall where the portal would be and it damages him if he tries walking into it.
