How do you take screenshots in the Xbox 360 Edition? I found a tree growing on top of sugar cane, and it's probably the weirdest thing I've ever seen. I just wanted to take a screenshot of that, and if I knew how to take a screenshot it would be useful for the future too. Thanks!
You can pause the game and hit Y to send the picture to your Facebook, or if you're like me and you don't have Facebook, you can get a capture card and pull it up on your computer (your computer will be displaying the same thing as the Xbox) then hit Print Screen and save the image in Paint or something.
Easiest way is to just put it on Facebook. From there you can download it and reupload it somewhere like Photobucket.

I wouldn't recommend getting a capture card just to take screenshots. If you're going to make videos then the thing is a godsend, but if you want it just to take a few screenshots here and there, I think it's a waste of $200. Here's a couple links if you're really looking at them though:

Yeah, I don't have an account there but I used to, though I never went on it, and I thought it would be just ridiculous to upload a screenshot for all of your IRL friends to see... OMG guys look what I made in a video game and they're all like get a life loser.
If I had an account, I would make a separate one for Minecraft screenshots
I think you guys take the "omg they will make fun of me if i put a video game on here" way too seriously. I upload a few game pics once in a while and no one gives a damn. No one has looked at or hated on it.

Yeah, I've never understood that sentiment either.
They either are really shitty friends or just dicks if they're going to make fun of you for posting screenshots from a video game. It'd be time to get new friends in my opinion. It's sad people have to hide the fact they play video games like it's some dirty secret.

If you ask someone with a facebook account that question, chances are you'll get a pretty
generic answer that goes something along the lines of "To talk to my friends." At least thats the most common answer.
They will never say the real reason, "To post awesome pictures of myself doing stuff so they will think, Look guys he's doing stuff, he must be cool.. lets friend request him."
