I will never understand why 4J gets so much hate. People complain about the slowness of updates and no mods, texture pack, free skins , no infinite map, etc. but why? It's not minecraft on the Xbox it's minecraft Xbox 360 EDITION. So what if the we don't have a new update every week it's harder than it looks. And if you really are going to complain about the skins not being free or no skin editor the skins are only 2 dollars and the skin editor is out of the question. Even when 1.8.2 comes out people are going to complain. Everyone thought this game was going to be the same exact thing as the pc version well maybe you should have researched it first. Sorry for the rant but it gets annoying that everyday I come on the forums I see about 10+ threads complaing. I think 4J has done a great job with the Xbox 360 edition sure it's no minecraft pc version with snapshots everyweek and mods and texture packs but it's still I great game.

Because some people just refuse to be content. I love this game. I haven't played the PC version, though I am considering buying it, but that doesn't mean that this version is any less appealing to me. I feel like I have gotten more out of this $20 XBL download in one month than I have out of my $65 NHL12 in 11 months (closer to $120, after all the MSP I spent on boosts so I could play online without having to grind out 3+ seasons).
Comparing one to the other is silly, because the XBox doesn't have the resources that a PC has. But it is a damn capable game on its own. But it's easier for people to whine "I want everything now" and complain than it is for them to save the money for a platform that can handle the game they really want to play.
Because some people just refuse to be content. I love this game. I haven't played the PC version, though I am considering buying it, but that doesn't mean that this version is any less appealing to me. I agree with you 100 percent. And I think that both of and Xbox 360 versions are great having played and owned and still played both. But to me there different games in there own way.

i wouldn't say any less appealing.... once you realize all that PC has compared to the xbox edition and play around with it.. i'd guess its incredibly likely that something about xbox edition will inevitably become less appealing. Building material, for instance. I've been waiting since xbox edition was released just for stone brick, among other things, because stone brick makes stone and especially cobblestone look like more crap than it already is
Seriously though, complaining about complainers just makes you exactly like them. Avoid the crowd. It doesn't help the cause any more or less. They don't ever go away anyhow. On topic, many people are greedy, impatient, just plain rude, or all the above and more. 4J deserves quite a bit of praise, considering they took the time to "port" a game built in Java to the xbox platform. They also put some pretty good quality into the player skins. The updates will take more time and effort in conjunction with the amount of content that was originally put into it. It's nice of them to bring forth some of the features from future updates into the current ones. Problem is, they usually the exact opposite of praise. Understand that alot of people can never really get enough, hence the perpetual complaining.
I think that the main problem is that they've tried to make one just like the other, which brings up the enviable comparisons between the two. They should've made the xbox version at least look completely different than the PC one. Different mobs, corn instead of wheat, different textures, The same ole minecraft underneath, but "different" enough that they seem like 2 different games.
Would that stop the complainers and comparisons? Sadly, probably not. The people here will always find something to ***** about. It's what they do.
I still think it's funny that they gripe like crazy about the xbox not having all the PC features.... but the PC people don't gripe about not having some of the neat xbox features!
The only people that complain are the ones that don't realize there are WAY more important issues in life than how a video game is not up to their standards. These complainers need to turn on the news or step out into the sunlight and get a life. I wish my only complaints in life were the slowness of updates of a video game.
If these updates are too slow for some, go outside and play some games that don't involve you siitting in front of a tv all day and build some strength and character. Life is a real RPG game, give it a try, you might like it.

Another thing to keep in mind is that there actually aren't that many people complaining. At least not when compared to the literally millions of happy players. But it's a fact that people who dislike something are far more vocal than those who like it. That's especially true if the unhappy ones are given such an easy-to-use platform like internet forums.

A bunch of things actually ( the new crafting interface, tutorial, etc ) not enough yet but later. That's a quote that someone from 4J said how later on the Xbox version will be different than the pc version with some exclusive stuff. If it was minecraft on the Xbox it would be 100 percent like the pc version.
Actually it's not like I said before minecraft Xbox 360 edition will be different in the future that's why its name is not just Minecraft.
