I think they should make Some real currency. Craft Cash or something like that. Where if you dyed paper green it would be made into Craft Cash! Just Something I thought of

It's a cool idea, but if they did that, everyone would be on their case about copying a clone. In TotalMiner: Forge they use a currency, gold. And they have two special blocks that are shops, a block shop, and an item shop. It's very handy though, since you can sell your unwanted materials and use the cash to buy anything you need. If minecraft did something like this, it could easily take care of the problem of limited resources.

So, even though it will probably upset some people, I'm 100% behind this idea.

Emerald is being used as a currency right now. It's green and everything.

Pointless, paper is worthless and green dye is common enough once you find cactuses, the money would be worthless. Look at it this way, in a multi-player world I wouldn't give you any diamonds, iron, or even wood for a stack of green-dyed paper, no matter how much you gave me, because I have no use for it. I can create tools or buildings with the other stuff. You would have to back it with a rare material (Such as diamond or Gold) and make these minecraft dollars redeemable, but that would be up to the community and is vastly more complicated than working on a barter system.

okay it's pointless but they need to add some type of currency

It is not useless; it is just completely flawed up to the point where it has no purpose whatsoever.

Isn't this like NPCs and emeralds ina later update?

Oh gotcha, ya i guess it could be kind of cool to be able to buy your materials instead of having to mine them, but I don't think they would have both systems running concurrently.
