I really think this could look better, to be honest. And your video is too fast. If you slowed it down, you're still only looking at ~ 4:00 minutes or so, and your vid is just that much better looking.
I see the simplicity, and there is definitely something to be said for simplicity, but this seems unfinished to me.
Maybe I'll take your design and dress it up a tad.
