Hello everyone! I am Redstone Robot, and I'm getting an Xbox! I have a couple questions about the system setup, game setup, and some Miscellaneous questions!
Setup Questions

When installing an Xbox 360 console, is it true that all you have to do is plug in the game to the outlet, and then connect the colored cables?
How do you set up a Wi-Fi connection to your Xbox?
Minecraft 360 Setup Questions

Do you need an HDMI plug in to play Minecraft with a friend non-wirelessly?
Is it neccassary to have Xbox live to play online/wirelessly?
Miscellaneous Question

If you play Xbox 360 minecraft, comment your Gamertag! I'll friend you!
Plug it into an outlet, hook it up to the tv. Should work
If you have an older Xbox 360, you need a wireless adapter to connect on wi-fi, though I think the newer models have it built in.
To play split-screen, you will need either an HDMI cable or component cable(red, green, blue, red, white), and and HDTV. You do need Xbox live to play online.
You want to be able to get online so you can get the game and update it. If you're getting a brand-new Xbox (slim), it will come with WiFi built-in. Just go through the setup menu on the Xbox (all the way to the right on the list of choices). I'm assuming your house has a working wireless router. Must have that. You don't need a gold membership to get the game, update it, or play offline. Silver (free) will do. You do have to pay for the game, of course.
