Every time i walk through a forest the grass i really green i like it. But where i live the grass is dull and ugly green. Is there any way to make it greener? Like planting more trees? Thanks!

The shade of the grass has to do with the biome you're in. If you think it's dull now, wait til you see what it looks like in a swamp, lol. Sorry, nothing you can do to change it, other than move your house.
Come to think of it, I haven't actually *tried* collecting grass with shears (just hit it with the shears) from one biome and then planting that grass in another... but I really doubt that would work.
I've noticed that blocks of dirt that you place never turn the same color green as the surrounding ones that were not disturbed while building. I just thought that was why they were different colors...

at least the grass in swamps is still a shade of green lol something about that nasty brown tint it has when it's near a dessert is grossly unattractive to me
I think the shades of grass changed with the last update when they tweaked the lighting. If the sun is shining on it, it looks much greener but if torch light hits it it gives it a kind of a brownish tint.
I thought the color of the grass is affected by whats under the dirt block? For example, the tint may be darker if there is no dirt block below the dirt block the grass is on.
