This is my kind of creeper memorial thing. I didn't really have anything in mind when i started building it, but somehow thats how it turned out. The whole thing took about 2 or 3 weeks and it was meant to be a surprise for anyone that found it so I did the whole thing myself. Our world was already pretty well developed when i started so I didn't have to dupe at all. Sorry about some of the pics being so dark, btw, i guess xbox screenshots completely ignore your gamma setting...
scrolling through is basically a walkthrough of the entire place
walking up to it, the first thing you see is a massive field of cactus, i didn't take a screenshot of that though
The inside, theres a hidden sign with a hint telling you to check out the stairs. Also, If you take a regular creeper, consider each pixel in it a block, then build it, these 2 creeper models would be a 0.5:1 ratio of that. (i couldn't fit a face on them without it looking retarded)
hidden switch under the stairs opens up the hidden stairs underneath the stairs opposite of the switch.
going down the hidden stairs you come to a minecart which takes you around the edge of this huge hole with a 2:1 scale creeper (based of off the 1 pixel = 1 block model) inside it.
this hidden switch at the bottom of the hole, revealed by stepping on the pressure plate next to it, opens up the hidden door below.
go down the hidden hall and you'll reach this massive hall shortly after with two 1:1 scale creepers at the end
The room at the end of the massive hall and end of the ride. I came up with what i thought would be the most unexpected end to this possible, which ended up being pressure plates which open the horizontal spot in the wall above to reveal what we'll pretend says "ruln 100 lol"
Great build, with the first picture I was thinking "eh, its just an ok temple" but then it got better and better. Well done, the creepers came out great. Definitely made me laugh.

It seems pretty decent of a build, but you didn't have to mention the "no duping" part. It doesn't make a difference.
To me it does, because i dont ever play in creative so duping would've been cheating, especially when i had to gather the something over 10 stacks of wool for the last parts..
That's pretty awesome, I like the idea of putting out a sign as a clue for the hidden staircase... I might have to try that somewhere.
Thank you! And the sign ended up having to be not quite as hidden as i originally wanted, because people dont go looking for things they dont know exist so the first couple people that found it just found it, looked, and left without finding any secrets
Thats really cool! As for me Ive built 2 boss structures, one theatre with backstage, low lighting, and even curtains! Then another smaller work of mine was a underground house that my friend and I made. It has kitchen, nether portal, automatic wheat farm, mob spawner (under construction), and a training room.
the outsid reminds me of roman architcture like the parthenon... think i spelled that correctly, pretty simple but thats where its beauty lies. in its simplicity. the inside room, the upper level not the basement/temple, looks very well constructed and has a great flow... not crazy about the lower level, it is huge and has a crazy open feel to it, just would liek to see some more blocks used, some more unique architecture, aside from the creepers.. .which are really cool.... it just feels like its missing something, maybe have a ceiling thats of a different material, just my opinion. all in all really cool build and i would like to tour it to see it first hand,
Badass, but i always envisioned my creeper memorial to have a mob spawner with a water elevator under it- have mobs pouring out the mouth and base of it, you know?
That is so very cool. I like the outside design of the temple and it just kept getting better and better. The creeper statues are just awesome! There are a few things here I might include in later builds because it just looks so good.
