First off I started playing minecraft when it came out on xbox. Im looking for some pro tips. I wanna be able to build huge stuff and complete it like skyscrapers and make huge stip mines and mineshafts.
There are tons of ideas on youtube that will keep me busy for quite some time. Everything from five minute timers for automatic farms to giant spheres, castles, you name it.........And always carry a bucket of water when cave diving.....
I have a Redstone Tutorials for the 360, if you want to check that out (desc). I also have a lets play, and will go over each update and other stuff like that
Read up on the redstone logical gates, they will serve you well in medium to big projects (even in small projects you can do some very interesting tweaks). If you've never heard of these then you're in for a treat (:

And look up redstone builds, that can keep you occupied if you start working on different projects.

I'd also recommend setting the auto-save to every 15 minutes.
I play on hard, so I also try to not stray to far from the nearest bed in case night sneaks up on me.
