When will the mods come into the game because the PC has more features than the Xbox version and now about lots of people will stop playing because school or they might get bored anyways.
We won't get mods, in the sense like the PC version has them. Any "mod" we get will be DLC from 4J Studios, and will probably cost money. No one knows if/when that will happen.
unfortunatly i dont think there will be mods because i would love to have tekkit to make my city better but unfortunatly i cant unless they release it as DLC

Exactly. XBox will never get mods.
Mods for the PC version aren't produced, distributed, or even approved by Mojang. They are all made by players/fans, and they are all free because Mojang will sue anyone who makes a buck off of their game. They don't mind the modders, in fact, they encourage them; they just won't let them charge for their mods.
On the XBox, everything has to go through 4J. That's a Microsoft deal, and there's no use complaining about it. We may, in the future, get some DLC's that have some 'mod-like' features, but we'll never get on the XBox anything even approaching the size, scale, and detail of the PC mods that are out there. The number and types of PC mods are effectively infinite.
If you want to play with mods, get the PC version. Microsoft will never... ever... allow 3rd party mods on the XBox the way Mojang does with the PC, since Microsoft actually hosts the network over which multiplayer is played, owns the proprietary platform, etc. Mojang just puts their game out there on the internet and lets people do what they want, but doesn't actually host anything themselves. This protects them from infringement lawsuits in a way that MS can't, simply because of how XBox Live works.
XBox will never get mods. New content, DLC's, yes. Mods, no.
I was hoping for mods, but after reading this, I realized that like stated, it would have to be dlc. The best they would give us is a car mod. Oops, said it again. How about now: The best they would give us is a car DLC. Yup.
You sure about that "sueing anyone that makes a buck off their game" part? What about all those servers which you have to pay for to get premium features.
You're splitting hairs. Those are servers, and running a server costs money. Web access, hardware... someone has to pay for it. Some take donations, some have "premium features"... it's all a way to support the server. Wouldn't be much of a point to having multiplayer without servers, now would it? If Mojang took the Microsoft route, and hosted all the servers themselves, they'd be legally liable for anything on those servers... and there would be no mods at all. If they didn't allow server-hosts to recoup some of their expenses, there wouldn't be enough servers out there to bother with.
We're not talking about servers though... we're talking about mods. Go ahead, write up a mod, and then charge for it. See what Mojang does. I double-dog dare you.
Here... check out what they have to say themselves...

Retired StaffThe modify the actual game files (which normal people can't even access on XBOX) and add extra features, like airplanes, guns, more monsters, etc....

Exactly.
Perfect.
You summed it all up in one simple sentence.
