hey every one i just have one question and the title says it all why do people not like kids on minecraft???????
one of the best players i know is 9 but cant get into anyones games but mine so if u have any thing good to
say about this pls respond

I dont think it's that we dont like kids i think its the fact that sometimes they tend to want to constantly be needy and try to ask you for items 24/7. Thats just me anyways im cool with some kids so dont fret :f

I think it's a maturity thing. For me, I don't mind playing with little kids or teenagers or adults. I don't like playing with immature players though. I know that there are some immature adults and teenagers, but little kids tend to be immature more often than teenagers or adults.

I find them overly obnoxious (loud with their mic) and they tend not to listen when you speak to them.
I just prefer an older and more understandable audience.

I agree.

Probably for the same reasons "squeakers" are generally disliked on XBox as a whole. Not that they're all bad, but as a rule they're obnoxious, loud, prone to cheating/duping/generally immature behavior, etc., etc....

I don't mind playing with the exceptions to the rule... but it takes a little convincing.

Perhaps some of it is that the game is rated E +10 online? While relatively few people probably concern themselves with it, it still could be that some of the online servers are just trying to follow the guidelines in case the parent's of younger players wind up objecting to some of the content in their worlds or the language used by some of their players. (Just a thought.)

My friend's kids (ages 7 through 11 and many of their friends who are as young a 4) are, IMO, very skilled with the controls and play the game well. Many of the maturity issues mentioned, whining, pilfering, duping, etc. are certainly not limited only to the younger players. If anything, I've observed that the pranking (that is a big part of the game for many) just seems to get nastier as the players get a little older.

If it makes him feel any better... I'm older than dirt, lost my sense of "prank" ha ha long ago, am pitifully slow on the controls, and actually often can't see the different between wooden planks and dirt... nobody really wants to play with me either...

Honestly it does not matter who you are or how old you are.

I am willing to play with anyone but that first chance of them being a **** or an obnoxious kid then they will be kicked and banned, simple as that. No reservations about treating someone in kind if they screw with my world or myself.

I don't have a problem with them, I just prefer to play games with people my age.

I don't mind kids when they listen to me and aren't loud, but its mostly a maturity thing. One guy on my friends list (I swear he gave his GT to his younger brother) joined my game and started pretty much doing whatever he wanted..

He made a Diamond Sword out of my limited stock of diamond, then he took all my gold and made armor and swords out of it after I told him not to use my Diamond. Then he kept asking me if he could use my Minecraft house and and everything in it... After I exited and put it on invite only (I needed that gold and Diamond..) he bugged me for 3 days straight to come into my world...

Because most of them don't know ANYTHING about the game itself, they cry for glitches and items, they desperately want people to join their servers, and they are rude on the forums. (Most of them)

Only kids like kids on minecraft.

I don't like other peoples kids. Be it on MC or otherwise.

If you want my personnal, honest, reason,
I don't like kids in real life for some of the
same reasons on minecraft. Ask about
everything, always need stuff, GRIEF,
you have to explain to him what
"Flint and Steel' or "Redstone" is.

I just find them very annoying and
a detriment to my progression on building

I don't mind playing with kids but some of the kids I meet are either deaf, retarded, or mentally ill.
I always have to tell them, "No, don't take my stuff." or "Find your own materials." I always give minor stuff to people but if they tell me constantly, it will annoy me.

Some kids squeak, swear, act retarded, TAKE MY STUFF, grief, make stupid houses and many more.
I had a 64 stack of diamond and 32 TNT and a kid started to blow himself up with diamond armor and TNT.
Another thing, I showed my friends the TNT X-ray glitch and while we were underground by a few blocks, a kid took my flint and steel, killed a few creepers, made TNT and blew me up. He just laughed and said "Sorry, but its so funny." AT THE MOMENT, I kicked him out of the world, my party, and deleted him as my friend.

Seriously though, I am perfectly okay with playing with kids but some of them want me to blow my brains out.

They Duplicate on my server withought even asking!

there annoying they act like the boss and grief and start crying when they're about to be banned there really annoying

If there kids and there young respect them and don't do anything mean to them so they might avoid you most times so be respectful to others.

Its hard to respect a kid when they constantly break the rules and scream over the mic.
