The first time i heard it i was runing back to my house and it was raining. I climbed to the top of my house to escape the mobs and i that my house just got blown up then i enjoyed the show.

The flashes have always been great ever since I bought the game. However, before the bug fix update, on my system there would be... no sound, no sound, no sound, and then just one REALLY BIG boom just before the storm would end. The first time I heard that boom, it startled me so bad I dropped the controller and the dog ran for cover under the sofa (and it's a big dog so doesn't actually fit under the sofa)! Since the bug fix, the sounds are more frequent and just a wee bit quieter. We're all enjoying the sound file much better now.

I always get rain but rarely thunderstorms - until last night - finishing up on the library in village and a storm rolls in. All I'm hearing is "boom boom" and "crash crash" and then I see my first lightning strike over on the other side of my village. My first thought was, I hey that was cool. My second thought was I hope it didn't hit any of my wooden roofs.

As a peaceful player, I'm not a fan of things randomly being set on fire. So I always hope thunderstorms come at night, so I can sleep my way out of them.
