When I was playing Minecraft I was just making a farm and then I had to go so I Exit and Save then when it was done I turned my Xbox off for two hours, then I played a different game. After that, I went back to the same world, but then I was set to the spawn point automatically and no items (except for a map), then I said "Holy mother of pearls!". I lost everything iron, diamonds, wood, sticks, armor, food, wheat, cobblestone, levers, redstone, signs, swords, pickaxes, axes, flint, cactus and etc. Why was everything deleted and no one used my xbox or killed me, so I restarted my xbox then checked and still everything lost. And since I don't know how to video it or screenshot, I was worried no body will believe me and my friend saw it and believed it and for real no one hacked or joined at that time I was just alone!

It's a known bug... a lot of people have been complaining about it. You have to save your game in the menu screen, don't choose the exit and save option though when you go to exit. You have to save before choosing to exit.

I think I did that so may be a odd glitch but I atleast we had diamonds to make materials.

Unfortunately, the only thing you can do right now, if it keeps happening, is to make sure you put all your stuff in chests before you save and exit your game.

Thats why my map is really having popular buildings and people want to join or about the diamonds okay

Yep, it's bad... That's why it's right at the top (No. S-01- Player Data Not Saving) on the Official Bugs List posted by 4J. If it is only happening sporadically, I think the second one on the list (No. S-02 - Certain Worlds Not Loading) could be a worse bug; however, some people are reporting that it is happening every time they re-enter their world, so perhaps the two are equally able to force a player to start over in a new world.

As others have said, 4J are trying to isolate what is causing the problem and fix it. For now, the simplest workaround is to not leave the game with anything you value hanging around in your inventory. Just be sure to pop it in a chest before you go.

Yep, it sucks.

NEVER use Exit and Save, its extremely buggy. I haven't used it since it froze and I thought my world had corrupted.

I just hope if they can restore how we had our items before but atleast the place was still there and diamonds also

Try signing out and back in via the silver button in the middle of the remote (forgot the name, sorry). Worked for me!

Okay now my friend joined the game and lost everything like me even if his not the owner of the map this glitch is seriously the worst I've seen in my live!

Start saving to the cloud as well and a backup flash drive. It has not happened to me but I use the save option by itself each time before I quit, never trusted that exit and save option since I first saw about that bug.

You could even expand your cloud storage by paying but it is not needed, you get 550mb or so, so far that has two worlds fill with crap in them saved just fine with room left over. You get the cloud for free with xbox live gold account forgot to mention.

Okay now a new glitch has spread to Xbox LIVE system, when I downloaded Skin Pack 2 (Trial), a person came to my game and tried inviting to the party and instead saying he was playing Minecraft, it said Modern Warfare 2 and I just pressed the Invite to Party and Game but then it caused me to get stuck and no way to exit it didn't show the Party sent and I cant even turn off Xbox by controller and not able to stop it, its like a virus and I just got Xbox this year, its a glitch so please fix this its annoying me now!
