Unless the pull the update early that allows you to teleport with them, then don't count on it.

Obviously. 4J studios is working to make the Xbox edition as much like the PC edition as they can.

It won't be in the next update unless they bring it forward from 1.0(Beta 1.9), and they haven't said anything about bringing it forward to my knowledge.
