while i agree, some achievements are incredibly stupid crazy easyopening your inventory... there have also been stupid crazy amounts of this exact thread..
the only achievement which frustrated me a bit was the saddling a pig, not particularly "difficult", just a bit too time consuming for an impatient bugger like me. I ended up coralling the pig and just digging a hole, and then waiting for it to actually walk down the hole, which was the most annoying part.
The "On a Rail" achievement is the only one I don't have, because I refuse to string 500 metres of track across my world for no reason. If it so happens that in the future I need a 500 metre long track which only runs in one direction, then so be it, but I'm not wasting the iron any time soon just to get 40G.
Considering the bulk of the achievements are a matter of simple progress, I'd say they are not necessarily too easy, but rather something between utterly pointless and mildly annoying.
you know if you hit a pig's butt it jumps forward right? vice versa w/ head. this achievement took all of 5 minutes once i had the saddle. trap the pig in a fence, dig a 5 block hole, remove fence, friend pushes pig in hole.
with the on a rail achievement, it really doesnt take that much iron, the real hassle there is gold for powered rail, though i suppose you could start digging down for momentum. i really think you're just being stubborn here.
I got the on a rail achievement using only 3 powered rails. If you find a tall enough starting spot and make sure you drop one block every twenty blocks or so, you don't need powered rails.

Retired StaffOh. Then achievement DLC would be nice to accompany the next update. Hopefully it would be free.

Retired StaffThere are 20.
What's the point of an "achievement" if all you have to do to "achieve" it is press Y?
For the next DLC, all of the achievements should be:
-Progress your DLC download to 10%
-Progress your DLC download to 20%
-Progress your DLC download to 30%
And so on.
Wow you're not funny.
I get it that the achievements aren't too hard, but I don't get the DLC part.
which therefore means a future update will have to be paid for....
