I understand what your saying but you have to see the big picture.
Not all modders want to do innocent things and msoft have to consider that any xbox modification might allow a user to hack into xbox live and possibly damage the system or get hold of our id.
They dont know if your making pink avatar hair or trying to launch a ballistic missile so for me i say ban any modded console full stop.
Why punish everyone for what very very few people do? I haven't even heard of profiles being stolen for quite some time. Microsoft's security is so solid it's not even funny. Console mods have little to do with stealing accounts, so I'm not sure the point you're trying to make anyway.

People getting their accounts stolen definitely still happens. Happened to one of my friends recently. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't heard much about it, it's not like they would advertise something like that. Also, everyone I know who has modded their console uses it to play games for free. Not exactly something that Microsoft would want less restrictions on.

because its unfair for people who play clean. Imagine if you play shooting game and some cheaters are using aim bot.

That's actually a good point, but if they allowed modding, meaning it could be easily accomplished with a flash drive. Then, they could just ban the people that modify their disc drives. They could also have a prompt when you modify a game's file or folders that you forfeit your right to play in ranked matches. They could even support special lobbies. No matter what, you can't stop harmful modding on any system, I just don't see why they discourage the mods that are just for fun. Not everybody wants to mod just to **** people off.

That's why I'm saying they should go back to the old ways. Simply banning modders from ranked matches. And I have been in those games, I'm not approving those kind of mods in any way, they completely take the fun out of the game. I'm talking about the mods that are just for fun, such as 99% of the mods for minecraft, or the HD mod, realistic damage, or flying mods on GTA IV.
Another thing about the 720 is we'd be lucky to see a demo of it 2013 E3 and we'd be even more lucky to play it Holiday 2014, So there are many more years in the 360.
The 360 was announced in may of '05 and released November that same year. If they announce anything next year, it is highly possible it could also be released by the holiday season next year, aswell.

(I didn't read anyone's post beside the posters)
I can tell you right now that Microsoft would never give up a game that are making them millions and millions of dollars. So there would be some way to port it over on the 720 and when they do it would most likely have the features that drag it down from the PC Version, possibly Infinite Worlds. I am pretty sure we will probably get a release date for next year holiday season. They already have dev kits out. I would be shocked if we didn't see anything at E3.

The average age of a gamer is like 32 or something. I'm only 21 but I've gamed since I was about 7 I think.
for most gamers. Like the majority of gamers
are like 13. I'm just saying.
The ESA did a study on it. It's actually dropped a little recently. The average age of gamers is 30 years old.

to rid all of the little whiny
8-11 year old kids.
