PlayStation 3:
- CPU: 3.2GHz STI Cell Broadband Engine (1xPPU and 6xSPU)
- GPU: 550MHz "Reality Synthesizer" (not a lot of details out there, but guesses are at 24 shader units)
- RAM: 256MB System and 256MB Dedicated graphics
It doesn't have better specs than a PS3, Xbox 360, or Gaming PC. It's about as powerful and has the specs of a gamin tablet. The only good thing that Ouya has is 1GB of RAM, that's it. I'm done saying this now because you just aren't understanding.

whatever i said they were better i didnt say they were alot better they could just be a tiny bit better but they are better

Ouya is running a mobile phone OS, with a mobile phone processor, and maybe twice the RAM as my mobile phone. If your friend's gaming computer can't compete with that, then it isn't a gaming computer. Just because you say Ouya has better specs, doesn't mean it does.
well it is a gaming computer it smoothly runs minecraft, team fortress 2, quantum conundrum, counter strike global offenssive, and alot of other games too if it can smoothly ruin all those games then u cant say its not a gaming computer also i never said ALL the specs are btter but some of them are

Gamin PC Specs
-CPU: Intel Quad Core i7 960 3.2 GHz
-GPU: ATI Radeon 2GB GDDR5 ATI Radeon™ HD 5970 w/ DX11 support
-RAM: 9GB Triple Channel 1067Mhz DDR3
- 640GB - SATA-II, 3Gb/s, 7,200RPM, 16MB Cache HDD
Nothing there is better. At all. Ouya would not even be able to run Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, Crysis, Skyrim, Splinter Cell, Assassins Creed, StarCraft 2, or any other current generation PC game.

I also have a gaming computer. It smoothly runs minesweeper, solitary, age of empires, among other high-tech jewels.

Let me reword what I just posted since you just focused on the least important part of what I said.
Ouya is running a mobile phone OS, with a mobile phone processor, and maybe twice the RAM as my mobile phone. It does not compare to a gaming computer. You can't change that fact just because you say so.

Well if it can do that, my PC should be able to run Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, and more on full settings... but it can't.
Now how can your friend's PC, which is worse than Ouya, which is worse than my PC (except the GPU... slightly... my PC is a hunk of crap) play CS and all those games, yet my computer lags so hard attempting to play Minecraft that it's unbearable?
I think you're saying anything to cover up for yourself at this point. I just can't figure out why.
I think if there's no cd drive on xbox, then im jumping ship and staying with 360 until its discontinued and then going full pc. The only reason i have my xbox is for talking to friends (which i can do on facebook/skype), and Gamefly. I also have some XBLA games, but this is NOT the way to go. Please have Blu ray and just dont abandon discs.I think if there's no cd drive on xbox, then im jumping ship and staying with 360 until its discontinued and then going full pc. (I didn't read anyone's post beside the posters)
I can tell you right now that Microsoft would never give up a game that are making them millions and millions of dollars. So there would be some way to port it over on the 720 and when they do it would most likely have the features that drag it down from the PC Version, possibly Infinite Worlds. Another thing about the 720 is we'd be lucky to see a demo of it 2013 E3 and we'd be even more lucky to play it Holiday 2014, So there are many more years in the 360.

how the **** should i know that im not a computer genius i just know that his computer can run those games
Guy's it's a goddamn computer, nobody's gonna win this freaking arguement.
The Minecraft app on the OUYA might have been the pocket edition, I didn't get
a great look.
hmmmm you know what that very well is a possibility and is frankly highly probable...hmmmm
Well the app just had the "Minecraft" logo on it, nothing else.
And you guys are arguing about the strength of this thing and how it can
only handle mobile games, then I realized it might be the pocket edition.

That is what I said earlier, I figure it is the pocket edition, especially since Ouya runs on Android.
OUYA:
- Tegra 3 (T33)
- CPU: ARM CortexA9, Quad Core @ 1.6GHz (or 1.7GHz in single-core mode)
- GPU: 520MHz ULP GeForce (8 pixel shader units)
- RAM: 1GB 1600MHz DDR3
Xbox 360:
- CPU: Tri-Core Xenon PowerPC @ 3.6GHz (with 2 threads per core, giving 6 threads)
- GPU: 500MHz ATI Xenos (48 pixel shader units)
- RAM: 512MB 700MHz DDR3

Retired StaffIf your friend was aiming for a gaming rig, and it's that bad. He was either aiming to play games from the 90's, or just doesn't know what he's doing.
EDIT: Aww.. ninja'd.
