I built my house and it looks awesome. I have a bunch of rooms and all that stuff (library). So, I decided to build a Reasturant about 20-30 blocks away from me. I built the whole thing with crafting table and furnaces and chests (it's a Benihana theme; I have stone slabs that can be lit on fire with flint and steel). So, I make two sinks out of wood. I take my three water buckets, get water then fill up sink #1 with water. Then, in WOOD sink #2 I decide to put none other than, lava. Therefore, my whole restaurant burned to the point where I exited w/o saving only to find my library unsaved and my Reasturant And whole time clearing space gone. FMLOh, and 5 diamonds
That sucks! You have my sympathies though. I burned down a whole hunting lodge once because I didn't know that netherack needed a "chimney". I was lucky though, the game had saved mid-way through the construction so it wasn't a total loss. MC can really get you with the whole "What do I stand to lose vs. What can be salvaged" when it comes to exiting without saving.
I am a Minecraft tourist. I am currently unavailable under the XBoxLIVE ID listed here but can be found under ZombieL0C0. If you see me online playing Minecraft, send a message and I will gladly take a stroll through your world.

Retired StaffOne question though. Why would you make a lava sink? Or was it going to be like a deep fryer?
