The word in this case was being used as sarcasm since you seemed to think your idea warranted praise. I didn't claim you said your idea was wonderful, I was implying you seemed to think it was.
It's quite simple,you say something you know alot of people will agree with...iv found plenty of topics similar to this.They all say the same thing.repetition gets very boring and these kind of topics are just as annoying as the "when's the next update" topics....
Wouldn't the easier thing be to just NOT click a topic that you know you will be annoyed by instead of say...oh I dunno...pointing out how you don't agree the topic should have been made? No one forced your cursor over the topic link and no one made you click the mouse button but you. So, please, flick the chip off your shoulder and move on.

I also have to give a hand to 4J. As a programming I'm all to frequently asked to port small Java and C programs that where written by others usually long since gone from the organization. It's a pain! Kudos to their hard work.

*Salute* Thank you to 4J for making this game possible on our humble console. I would thank Microsoft for hosting the game as well, but I'm still miffed at them for their retarded censorship policy...
I'm really happy with my 360 version. When it came time to buy, I had my choice between the two, and since most of my friends are console gamers I picked the 360 version. I've not been disappointed either! I'm used to waiting for game updates from my days of playing WoW, so I don't even mind not having all of the PC features, yet. If anything, it's given me an advantage as I'm able to learn how to use all of the base features, first and then adapt to the new stuff once I've got that down pat. That and I generally know what to expect when this stuff does go live. So keep up the good work, and ignore the nay-sayers.
Also, since this has become the subject of recent debate, I posted this here because it's the first such thread I've found, I'd rather not necro an old thread, and it never hurts to tell people you appreciate their hard work! I've worked in an environment where you only ever hear about what you're doing wrong, and it can drive you up the wall! As a people in general, i think we need to learn to mellow out a bit and not let this kind of thing get under our skin so bad. Don't sweat the small stuff, because if you spend all your time looking down and shouting at the grass for it's failures, you'll never see the creeper you're about to walk into!
When it came down to it, there was not much choice in the matter for me, as all of my computer equipment is not up to the task of running the full pc version of Minecraft, so the Xbox Edition is awesome! I tried the free browser version of Minecraft, and I really really prefer the Xbox controller to the PC keyboard controls. I am happily looking forward to seeing how 4J adapts creative mode to the controller! Keep up the great work, 4J, Mojang, and Microsoft!

I love the controls, I love the gameplay, I love the free major updates! I will purchase all additional content (skins, texture packs, everything shy of avatar stuff (I never buy avatar accessories), to support your continuing efforts!
I am sorry about all the flak you catch over the pc version. I want you to be aware that there are those of us (more than a few, I would imagine) that have never played the pc version, and therefore have a deeper appreciation for your efforts since we have nothing to compare it to . I love minecraft because its like playing with legos but with mobs.(monsters) I love the sound of a creeper exploding one of my friends,my friends may get mad when I laugh but I don’t care. I have recently been playing a lot on the xbox but my friends have sworn to stop playing intill 1.8.2 comes out so ive been lonely on there so I stoped playing on the xbox and started playing on my phone, but then realized it gets boring without online multiplayer so I started playing on the computer and I just love it
I agree with OP 100%! 4j has out done themselves. Some of the people here have to grow a patience muscle to understand that this game in not a simple port and was made from scratch.
