Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what is quite possibly one of the greatest games of all time on the Xbox 360!

I love the controls, I love the gameplay, I love the free major updates! I will purchase all additional content (skins, texture packs, everything shy of avatar stuff (I never buy avatar accessories), to support your continuing efforts!

I am sorry about all the flak you catch over the pc version. I want you to be aware that there are those of us (more than a few, I would imagine) that have never played the pc version, and therefore have a deeper appreciation for your efforts since we have nothing to compare it to ;). Thank you, thank you, thank you, 4J, and Mojang!

I have the PC version. I don't play it anymore- don't want to.
4J, ignore the PC freak's bitching. The PC version really doesn't have anything to do with the xbox version... and vice-versa.

Yes, thank you 4J. My family, friends and I have already spent several hours of time together exploring this game together. I am very much looking forward to the next update and also whatever additional updates and plans for the game might be on the docket for the future.

This game is quite amazing. It also is amazing that its so cheap. I mean its 20.00 and I have already played it more than probably 85% of my games that I spent at least 50.00 on.

I don't know about you, but these thank you threads are far less common on here than the threads complaining about the differences between this and the pc version. To me the complaints are getting more old! It is time for a happy thread!

i'd never played any version of minecraft before. about a month ago i got some free xbox points (bing rewards) and could NOT decide what to get. i finally just said "screw it. i've never played minecraft but i hear it'll last nearly forever. so i might as well try it." i was hooked before i even got out of the tutorial.

shortly after i decided to get it on PC for the mods/texture packs. and...yeah. i prefer the xbox version. i might be the only person in the entire world but...i LIKE the map size limit. i like to fully explore my world and mark cool places to build with torches, then fill my map with houses/villiages/etc. on the PC version i just walk forever and can never decide on a spot to build cause there's just too much. nto to mention once i get so far out my PC wants to die.

also i like playing with my xbox controller much more than keyboard/mouse. yes, i DO have a program on my PC that lets me use my xbox controller for any game i want, but the controls just aren't as...fluid and don't feel as good.



...long story short (TO ME) xbox version > pc version

Yes thank you to them all, 4J, Mojang and Microsoft. They're doing a damn good job. A game like this is worth every minute of the wait for updates.

I have both versions and I always go back to the 360, its too seamless for me to play compared to the PC version.

It's so great to finally see someone appreciating 4J and MC360
for what they're worth, and not whining on how they need to improve.

So they should thank you for one idea in a game you didn't have anything to do with creating or porting? I sure hope people start complaining about this "wonderful" idea of yours then maybe you would appreciate the thank yous that are going out to 4J . Or were YOU hoping for a rep boost?

I have no idea what this "reputation" you speak of, is, nor what it takes to "boost" it. I started this topic because I was tired of reading all the complaints about MC360, and I thought it would be nice to give the people at 4J and Mojang, and even Microsoft something positive to read instead. I am quite certain that Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is selling Xbox 360's for Microsoft, because I would buy one for it, if I did not already have one.

ill echo the sentiments of the OP... cept, i DO play the PC version and have for near two years... but i actually find mysefl going to this version over the PC now!

It's hardly something to take the guy to task over. I found the thread a refreshing change from all the usual crap that gets posted around here.
