For all of those people who are going to stay with their old worlds. Well I thought of a solution that wont be 100% Useful but it would help. Just go to creative and spawn in the items you wanted but you couldnt get all the structures though. Hope this helps
That is a solution, but not a very good one in my opinion. 1.8.2 is the ADVENTURE UPDATE. People will still want to explore and find villages and strongholds.
Yeah creative will be very useful, you can spawn rare items such as pumpkins or sugar cane for those who don't have such items in their worlds, and even create small NPC villages because you can spawn villagers on creative (not sure if will be possible in this version, but in the PC it can be done).
But exploring will never be the same. Unless they make maps bigger, 3km x 3km seems to be pretty big, and I bet Xbox can handle that.
