Anybody else think it would be awesome to get some 8-bit metal music disc in the future? It wouldn't have to be any specific artist.

I don't listen to metal much anymore but I'm sure C418 could make it brilliant.

Not really no. Minecraft has it's own specific music style made just for it and it should stay that way.

Just my opinion though. If I wanted to listen to something like that, I'll just fire up YouTube or pop in a CD while playing my Xbox 360.

Well though I do understand its unnecessary i think it would be pretty awesome if they widened the music they use in general. I'm just a metal head so i would love to see a little heavier and faster style of 8-bit music which could Intensify my house or a spot that I'm mining.

I agree! Nothing motivates me more than "Metal!" I usually go to work with "lamb of god" playing to wake me and get me going! So, yeah anything faster or heavier would suffice! LOL!

I'd appreciate some Korpiklaani, CoB, Arch Enemy, or Kalmah.

But then again, that's why I listen to my ipod while I play sometimes.

There should be customizable disks to get.

isn't there a mod that letts you play music from itunes or something on pc? I guess you wouldn't really need it because you could just go to itunes. Maybe 4j can make a dlc that plays songs from your hard drive, it could be a music disc that is craftable but very expensive to make. I think this would be a neat little distraction to have in multiplayer somewhere down the line. I guess you could just play the songs directly from your hard drive but then no one in multiplayer gets to hear your excellent taste in music!
