When water is leaked into a house or just a genera area, I wish it would eventually fill up the whole area.
Like water would in real life, unless you stopped the leak.

There is a way to do this, in a roundabout sort of way. I was experimenting with "flooding" areas a while ago. Basically build a pool above the area you want flooded to whatever measurements the area below it you want to be flooded and place water source blocks until the whole thing lies flat then destroy the bottom of the pool entirely. The water will stay where the source blocks were and stay level on the top (as in, not pulling you in or under) and the entire bottom area will be submerged in water. Hope this helps. I know it's not exactly the same thing, but you can use it to the same effect if you need a water filled room or whatnot.
