I played the xbox mincraft for a month now and I like it, but I look at the pc forums and I'm blown away by how much more they can do with their content and they have all the mods. I'm considering getting the pc version too now.
I'm a Zelda fan and I saw a Zelda themed game someone made and is still making for minecraft on the pc and I'm like ' pfft, there's no way you could ever do that on the xbox' and wish I could play it.
I know that the xbox version is catching up but the pc is still better with the mods and the commands. We need more texture packs, npc, more mobs, and the list goes on.

"When life gives you lemons, give life back his lemons! I don't want your d*mn lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm Cave Johnson, the guy who set your house on fire with combustible lemons!" - Portal 2
What exactly is your point? I'm pretty sure everyone knows that the xbox version is behind. They're 2 completely different games at this point, after a month you're just figuring this out?
*facepalm city* if thats how you feel go play it on pc then no point in posting about it let alone in the xbox section where you will be flamed by xbox fanboys
My point is that I will have Xbox to play with friends on and have the computer version for the full experience of the game. It cost $26.95 for minecraft on pc and $20 for Xbox; making it $46.95 which is around the price of most games if not lower for Xbox.
The pc is a different experience than the Xbox, so no, I'm not spending more for the same exact game. The pc has mods with can change the gameplay.
Also, I can use Xbox to play with my friends and other people while I use the pc when I play alone. I was also wondering how many other people do this.I still like the Xbox over the pc, but when it comes to experiencing the game, the pc has the upper-hand.

Yes, no one is forcing me, I would be doing it on my own free will. I would be getting the pc version for all the extra content you can get with it to explore it on my own. Is there anything wrong with that? People are talking about getting tekkits for +$20 and I'm getting minecraft for pc for $26.95 and mods.

Um, if you want the computer version i can't stop you, whats the point of posting this? Are you asking me for advice?
And if the Xbox catches up the computer (unlikely i know) you'll have wasted $26:95.

Alright, I think the original point of this thread, correct me if I'm wrong, was to ask if getting the PC version was worth it while you already own the Xbox360 version?
I can tell you, as someone who owns both, that it is certainly convenient. My 3 best friends want to play? Play Xbox, as their PCs are utter ****. I feel like playing alone? PC, for the, as you stated, superior content and mod-ability.
However, there is one difference between you and I. I bought PC Minecraft when it only cost $5.00, so it was stupid for me not to buy the Xbox version later, having spent almost nothing on the original. I can't tell you if the PC version is worth the full price, only that having both is certainly very nice.
