I have a sister that plays Minecraft and she lives in huge home in a village, and half-way through the night she wakes up with a Zombie or Skeleton in her home... we play in Hard mode but none of the doors are broken down... I need help... because of those happenings... she constantly has to block up her doors with Dirt... please help.
By "Wake up with a zombie" ... do you mean she is kicked out of bed by a zombie? They used to do that before, in 1,7 or something. Anyways, the way to fix it is to move the bed away from the outsidewall .

Check if there is anything that can affect the doors. (pressure plates, not closing them etc)
Second.
Ensure the area is VERY well lit. Especially the corners.
Third.
Ensure the house has walls without any holes. Ensure there is no way for them to sneak in. Once you sleep, they gain the AI of a god and will seek you out from anywhere on the map.
Fourth.
Double doors. This is likely the issue. Double doors are known for not being very safe.
Fifth.
Doors in general. Do this: go outside your house and place the door. That way, it should open INWARDS and this, for some reason, prevents mobs getting into your house.
Other alternatives? Get a block of sand and a piston, put them outside your house in front of your door and connect a lever to it. At night, simply flick the lever and voila.. The sand blocks the mobs from getting in. Do this from the outside, else it will look weird. Gravel also works. If you have sticky pistons, use any block.
If you need any help, ask. I'll post a screenshot of the idea in action.
*STOPS AT 4 REASON* YES! She has double doors... why is that a problem?
Make sure the house/room is lit up well, also make sure the bed is NOT near a wall otherwise mobs will spawn. Lastly make sure the door is on the OUTSIDE of the house. Hope this help.
It is outside the house.
