The other day, a friend came into my world. He decided for his job, he would sell porkchops. Instead of him easily killing pigs and putting the raw meat into a furnace, he decided to get the already cooked porkchops from pigmen in the Nether. Now whenever I go into the Nether for netherrack or glowstone, I get attacked and sometimes killed by the pigmen. Do the pigmen ever stop being aggressive or do they stay that way?
Thanks.
Only the ones in a certain range should become hostile at all. Once hostile they stay that way though. You're friend must have angered a whole lot of them.

They shouldn't be aggressive towards you though, only him. Thats like you attacking a pack of dogs and they attack some guy who just joined the world... Unless they're supposed to be that way.

Zombie Pigmen are only supposed to agro (be aggressive) to the one who attacked them not other people who have done nothing. They are also supposed to go back to being neutral once you leave and enter the Nether again.
It sounds like some kind of bug. Your friend should be the only one getting attacked by the Zombie Pigmen in the first place.
Everybody who goes into the Nether gets attacked by the pigmen (as if ghasts weren't enough). No matter how many times I leave and enter the game, exit and enter the Nether, I get attacked by pigmen every time.
Thanks.
