I have quite a large World that myself and a few others have invested a lot of our time into that has all of a sudden decided to go absolutely nuts. Even if you sleep in a bed to reset your spawn area you return back at the original spawn. I have tried saving & exiting but you still end up back at original spawn with only a map, having lost everything. I have also deleted minecraft & reinstalled to no avail. As well as clearing xbox system cache. What could be the problem? I'm willing to accept friend requests so you could explain further in a party, or even join the world to see what I'm speaking of. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Do you know whether your friend was able to fix the bug? I'm not willing to give up on this world bedside it's very elaborate and large, not to mention has enormous builds on it.

It is a known bug. 4J is working on fixing it. One of the things they think might be causing it is having a lot of different people visit your world. Do you know how many people have been to your world? Unfortunately there is no fix right now, just make sure you put your stuff away before saving and exiting.
That could possibly be.. I'm just afraid to delete any of that if it were to possibly corrupt the file altogether.. Do think it's safe to delete some of it?
So I talked to my friend and he said he couldn't figure a way out of it. I suggest you might want to wait untill the next update, which shouldn't take too terribly long. Sorry, but thats what i've heard people do when they are in this situation.
