I'm walking along in a world that is almost completely ice or snow (not joking, I will put map seed in another comment) and I notice a dungeon that is under the ice I am walking on. I mine through and the entire dungeon is underwater. I died a few times trying to get things before I remembered that I could place a door underwater for an air pocket...has anyone else found one of these?

If you want to know where a good area of grass is, go to the bottom right corner of the map. I have found 3 dungeons in the map. One is open in a desert, one is underwater, one is north on the map of the bottom right corner on a small island.
I've never seen an underwater dungeon, but I recently started a world that is almost completely ice and snow. Maybe I will encounter one. This is very interesting.
Would you be able to post pictures? Maybe if I see what it looks like through the ice I'll know what to look out for.
Photo's aren't uploading for some reason but it was barely even seen by me. You will be able to spot one though, since the ocean area isn't that low and you come to a rectangle drop-off.

That's alright.
What part is the most noticeable through the ice? The spawner, the mobs, the moss stone, or the chest? Or are all of these in the drop off?
I'm going on a dungeon hunt when I play Minecraft again hahaha.
The deep pit was what I noticed first, but the mossy cobblestone caught my eye with the green.
Thanks! I'll post here if I find anything. I'll try to get pictures as well, but I don't know how to take the screen shoots or upload them. I'll figure it out though.
Found a random sunken Dungeon in my community world. I was just ruding on a boat looking for clay and I saw cobble under the water in the middle of a bay-like area. My first thought is "No freaking way...". Sure enough, though, it was a dungeon buried under sand.
I had one underwater dungeon once but when I saw the moss(it was my first playing Minecraft) I thought it was natural to find these in the water and I didn't bother to mine it to reveal a dungeon.
Gargamel has one I believe. My sister found one like a month ago, it was the entrance to a huge cave , but the only way to get there was through water, it was under like an oasis of sand.

I do not think hostile mobs can spawn in water.
