Ok so I have a sign outside my mineshaft I have had it say the shaft for a while but since last update it says censored. I I took it down put it back and was fine till I reloaded my game then it was censored again. Ive tried the mine shaft each word on its own line still wont work. I not really seeing how shaft is a bad word. Any thoughts?

If it's on the M$ censored word list then it gets censored. Personal feelings don't play into it.

Well, Microsoft has a dirtier mind than you if you don't understand "The Shaft" innuendo. Apparently Microsoft thinks Shaft means only one thing. Also the name Cody is censored too. No idea why, the regulations behind censored words is retarded.

you can add the word "pile" to list of censored words. Where's the innuendo in that?

That's pretty laughable. Yeah, I know we've got young kids playing. But come on.

I could understand if the words were the standard four-letter swear words. But SHAFT?

So young kids are playing the game, ok, but why would they write these words they don't even understand?

I think they should take off all of the denotational words off of the censorship list.

You know, like words that mean something but is also slang or has another meaning than its counter-part.

Like sex, hoe, ass maybe, all of those. Then they could just censor REAL swear words.

I hate cenorship.

The game is rated E10. The censorship isn't going to go away.

I agree the censoring is nessessary for younger players, but can be a real annoyance for older, more mature players.
An ideal future feature would be a client - side "Switch" to toggle censors on/off,

Sometimes I can't help but get the feeling that the people responsible must be playing Dictionary Roulette or something like that; close your eyes, open a dictionary, put your finger anywhere on the page, censor the two words closest to your finger.

All of their words are censored for a reason.

They are either very common innuendo or slang/nicknames for something offensive ,distasteful, or illegal.

I was making an RP server and i was writing a sign that would say "no racism" and it got censored....

does this mean steves in blacks suits with the MS logo are going to demolition my sticky piston um . device that shoots in and out of my neather portal ? .. also if you look at a creeper it kinda looks a litle ... idk odd :3 ... now i want to see a bunch of MS steves fighting the filthy perverted creepers XD

I was making dog houses With signs over each house saying there names well i had one thats name was blacky and i couldnt believe it was censored.

its all just M$ bull . but if you think this is bad watch out if/when you update your MS media player , cause theirs a hidden already checked box that means if you have any songs or videos w/o the proper DRM certificate they have the right to delete them for u, even though you may not want them deleted and they have no rights over the media itself.
