I'm pretty new to this game, I would to know what's to stop someone you invited to stop them from for instance laying TNT and blasting a hole in your creation? Is there a way to effectively protect your self like for instance reloading the world without saving leaveing the jerk to have to go back were they came from? Also is the world owner the only one who can save while you got others with you?

There is nothing to stop them, just set your world to invite only and never invite them again. And you are the only one allowed to save in your server. I would also suggest never turning autosave on, that way you don't have to turn it off whenever someone joins. I do this just as a safety measure, even if it's someone I trust.
The only real way to protect your world from people who would do it harm is to only play with people you trust. You can kick people from the world as well if you're the host.
So am I to understand you can reload your world if someing does that and it will be back to how it was?
If you saved your world at 8:00pm, then something gets blown up at 8:10pm and you haven't saved since 8:00pm, then yes you can reload your world and it will be back to how it was.
