Dear mojang or 4jstudios I was hope in if you Guys might some how be able to change the fact that you need HD TV to multiplayer because not all of us have that and it be cool if you could thanks keep up the good work.!
I believe 4J has said it won't be changed. It makes it nearly impossible to see what you are doing with regards to inventory and text. It can already be kind of difficult with HDTV's. And I am assuming you just mean split-screen, as you can play online without an HDTV.

********. Total Miner on XBLA has split screen and you don't need HD. The in game options let you change the split in split screen to vertical and it's easy to see what you're doing.
Unfortunately, I do not believe 4J has plans to allow SDTVs to play split-screen. Thankfully, there is a proper warning in place now stating that you actually do NEED an HDTV. When the game first came out, this wasn't the case. It was not documented before purchasing that it required an HDTV, which forced Microsoft to deliver refunds for a few days.

He isn't talking about the screen, he's talking about the GUI and the HUD. Both of those get incredibly difficult to see and read when you play splitscreen. Even on a 42" HDTV, 4 player splitscreen makes it incredibly difficult to see any writing, numbers, tool health, etc, in your game.
Like said above, 4J has no plans on ever changing it to work with splitscreen. Those with SDTVs are probably in the minority. It's 2012, even low income families have HDTVs because they're so cheap now.
