if it wasnt the world size there would be something else that people would want. ive said it before if your having a hard time enjoying the game with a smaller world, you would have an equally hard time enjoying it with a larger map. to me the game just isnt good enough with or without the world size thats why there are threads like this, because minecraft is always going to be the game that is good but it could be better. thats why there are mods, people hacking in the PC version, because as is the game isnt good enough and never will be. if they add the world size, if they add the mods, if they add all the things that they have on the pc, stil no one would be happy, there will always b the thought of whats next. until they run out of ideas for the game, or release something that completely bombs which is what wil happen eventually, that wil be a great day.

And I thought I was the negative one!
In a way I agree with you.
MC is a very unique game compared to others in that minecrafters are spoiled rotten with the constant updates and the perception that they can have it customized just for them. Instead of working within the confines of the game to achieve their pet projects, they've come to expect the developers to just change the game for them. Doesn't matter if the change does more harm to more people than it helps- as long as they get their way. The ole "Give me more… now!". No other game is looked at in this fashion, or has had more updates. The developer(s) have worked their butts off trying to satisfy you guys, but you know the ole saying: "You can please some of the people all the time…", etc, etc.
Some of the implemented ideas are good… but some are bad, silly, or downright horrid.
We get too caught up in ourselves sometimes. We think MC is the "end all" of programs and we're obsessed with it. I get that. But I saw yesterday on a game site that MCX360 sold 4.48 million copies in 7 months. Wow! Let's put this in perspective: Halo 4 sold 50 million copies in a couple of weeks. MC isn't nearly as big as you think it is.
The world size isn't gonna change.
Play with the hand you're dealt.
I know you want _______. But instead of asking to change the game, ask how do you work within the game to get that.
That's part of the challenge.
And if you can't…. oh well!

The world is big enough already. Anyway, they keep the world that size because of save files on your xbox. They don't want them to be too big so you can't buy and download other games, because the save would be too big. Makes sense, doesn't it?
a redundant thread is better than one where people are responding to months old, or even years old arguments that most likely don't apply anymore.

Watch the video. They talk about world size, why you can't "link" worlds, etc.
The problem is MEMORY, and currently they're "using all of it".
