It's not fair that we must create a new world every time there Is a new update, In order to experience the newly added content.
As an example, me and my friends have poured countless hours into forging my world. We already have no clay, and very limited pumpkins have been found. There Isn't a single snowflake In this world either.
The thought of starting over makes me upset. When I purchased this game , I was under the impression that It would be similar to the PC version, and updated to It's current version. With the current map size , It stills feels very limited. This Is why I am now hesitant when buying any game ported to the console.
I'm not asking for infinite maps, just that the size be increased a bit with maybe each update. Just enough to get a chance to generate the new content, without having to start over.
I knew that it wasn't going to be on the same level
They would need to enlarge the map at some point as theres going to be tons of new things added and its going to be cramped just look at the nether and glowstone once its gone your just out of luck with that world and no duping isnt a fix for this the player shouldnt have to use bugs within the game.
Well, they honestly should increase the map size at some point. I personally believe they're not doing it right now because they want to add more possible features in for when they do increase the size.
Like it Easy Stongholds ..... and i don't like not lots of land
Actually the way it is now would likely mean you would only get one if any strongholds at all considering the way the worlds are generated even in 1.8, yes im going by the pc version so it could be different but regardless it still serverly limits the player for building space when you factor in multiple players in the same world then it can get pretty cramped especially in creative.
I find this very simple to fix. But it would come at a cost. I know that split-screen is what is preventing larger maps. So, when you start a world, you pick if you will be playing solo on your xbox or split screen. If you pick split screen it will generate a small map like how it is now. If you choose solo, it generates a map at the very least 4x bigger, but infinite shouldnt be out of the question considering Castle Miner Z pulled it off. The next thing they need to look into is also 2 part. Increasing player count can be done in 2 fashions, and they can coexist. Up the standard played count to 12. Then add rentable servers which can hold up to 100 or more. I promise people will pay for rental servers. I myself would rent one and i know plenty of others who would as well. Simply put, this game is going to turn to trash if player count and map size arent properly addressed. That is a fact.

Except its been shown that the chunk loading around any player can already reach totally different chunks for all players on a map at the current size so a bigger size would have ZERO effect on that.
Ok this thread was made around a tweet saying that no bigger worlds in 1.8.2. Then we were talking about why they can't just add bigger worlds not when we think bigger worlds are coming.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.
I knew that it wasn't going to be on the same level
Not true at all, its the file size of saves.
No, XBLA has made many exceptions to Arcade save files.

Especially for those of us that have 100% explored our world already.
