Hey guys, so this is the biggest mansion I have made in my world so far. It is just below the clouds, and was made legit(note I do not say this to downgrade any duped builds others may have) Please let me know what you guys think!
The mansion seems nice, but it seems like this was only built for aesthetics. There isn't even a single chest in there, I dare say! Perhaps if it had a purpose other than to protect from hostile mobs and lightning, the rooms could support Crafting Rooms, Armories, Guest Rooms, and who knows what else?
I Indeed like the build but, Why open a video on top of a GLASS pillar just to break it?????? Other than that lack of judgement I give the build 2 Thumbs up and a pinky finger. Oh and JMO a bit of Stone or Dark wood could be used for accents.. Overall a Very Decent build!!! Keep up the good work!!
That is one of the biggest problems with big builds. I have a hard time using different materials other than wood and cobble. That still has a real cool looking design. Great job.

Everyone else already said what I would say...different materials, finish the interiors, why the glass pillar haha. Maybe some windows for the back wall too. As someone else mentioned, looked purely aesthetic from the front. All in all nice build, great work! Must have taken quite some time to get that much wood for the construction. Hope to see the interior finished off soon. And be careful with flint and steel and lava around there!

Yeah, I may add some more materials later on, this is like the main design of it for now though. As for the furnishing stuff, I really haven't started furnishing, all my chests and stuff are in my mining shafts, so I need to go find some more sheep, and then start working on that. As for the glass pillar, I saved the game prior to recording, so I just exited without saving.

As mentioned, look forward to seeing the progress! The layout and design is great, very original. Changing up materials here and there and furnishings are the easy part. The glass pillar just made me laugh, so used to seeing a dirt pillar for high shots like that. Glad to hear it didn't go to waste!
Nice, so far maybe add a jacuzzi in the 2 top floor rooms and a bed and wheres the fridge? Where do you sleep? Def missing a lavafall or 2 and maybe switch all the planks for straight wood, if it was me id do a lil 8 bit art collection as well as some balloons every mansion needs BALLOONS and wheres the chandelier in the enterance? Maybe some obsidian spires with cows ontop would be nice,

The mansion looks nice, but could use some variation in materials.

Yeah, a lot of people have suggested mixing up some different materials. I just added in some cobblestone, I think it looks nicer, I will do another video after iv added some village homes around it, and furnish the mansion.

Yeah i agree with some of the other posts. It could be better with a few more materials. You should let me in u'r game to see how it is now.
