So a couple of my buddies and I have been talkin bout building random villages around the map to freshen things up a bit. What do you guys think and how will that cope with the npc villages update? Will we have takin up so much room that the villages will not spawn? I would like some opinions and facts, thanks guy...

NPC's will not spawn in them, villages will not be generated into land that has already been generated. But I like building random villages and then making them all ruins like all the npcs died from some horrible disaster.

Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... The villages wont spawn in there cause your world would have been explored already. The new terrain changes will only take effect on unexplored areas of your map.

If you still haven't explored some of the map then there is a chance that you might get an npc village in that area. Building man made villages won't have any effect.
haha well i was hoping for some hobos to come settle in but yes i have explored the entire map, so unfortunately i will be re-seeding just for the npc villages. (Just a thing of mine, i hate being alone...without my rifle haha)
