i have a 3 story castle well lit 2 block thick walls all around well lit. sometimes when i go to sleep monsters randomly will spawn and wake me and proceed to kill me. this isnt consistent though. on days where i get attacked i just sleep in a tiny bunker next to the castle other days i can sleep in the castle just fine. why is it that 50 percent of the time i will be attacked in my sleep?

There is a glitch/bug when there are 2doors where you sleep that one of them registers as an empty space where mobs can just walk right through also try moving your bed to a different spot and keep every room well lit.

That would explain a situation I have been having...bed is in the middle of the room, but room has 2 doors leading outside. Was starting to think that house was just haunted. Thanks!

No doubt dude. Yeah just try moving the bed to a new spot and maybe taking down one door if moving the bed doesn't work. Unfortunately after moving me bed I still had the problem so I had to take down one of my 2 doors. It sucks having to do that because one door for me isn't enough but it does work Good luck

Unfortunately it still happens. Even after removing my double doors it still happens to me once in awhile(but not as much as before)
Can you place beds on slabs?
