How do you make roofs out of stairs.

Place one block diagonally above and behind another set of stairs.

you place upside-down stairs around the border and upside down half slabs in the middle

you can place 1/2 slabs and stairs upside down by clicking on the top half of the block or clicking underneath another block.

this is how I make my roofs, the only look good inside though

this can be tough. i would recommend looking at the villager type buildings to get the traditional look. i find every player has a unique building style. i myself make my roof out of a combo of wood wool fences and stairs.
