Just to throw this out there: offensive skins/signs shouldn't be an issue in the first place. ESRB doesn't rate online interactions and you are fully in control of which servers you can play on. You can even ban the level from yourself. Copyright may be another issue entirely, but Microsoft is going a tad too far with censoring this game.
This is an Ms policy that's all about the money. Censored games = more family friendly games = a bigger demographic to sell to, if otherwise prudish parents can be assured that their children won't be looking at the swears and the naughties online.
I think you should go ask the other 150,000,000 people on this forum that have asked the same question
ITS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN SO STOP ASKING
Why are you so hostile and negative about topics like these? And so consistently wrong, too. A skin editor IS possible, there's just some hurdles that need to be overcome. 4J has also tweeted that they're looking at seeing if a skin editor could be pulled off,so there's at least a small glimmer of hope.

Retired StaffI agree, though the skin editor might have to cost more to support staff that's dedicatd to approving skins.
