Well i was mining and clearing my mountains, Now I thought damn its getting dark better get to sleep so i can work again (Its not on peaceful) Now I came upstairs and i saw this and i thought what the hell happend here There was no creeper near me idk how this happend

Nope im playing by my self and ive been there the night before MC Night and its fine i came down no mobs no sound of creeper and i cleared the mountain up with my pickaxe btw the mountain was like 10 blocks away from it so Creepers could not have snuck up behind me and blew up aand even if a creeper did that i dont thnk it will do that dmg i mean its pretty high up
99% of the time though the rain instantly puts the fire out before any blocks are lost.
Unless the lightning hits something like a pink tree (wool) and it spreads to an area where water can't reach, there you go. That sucks. lol,

Yeah I guess that could happen with the trees, not many world's have woolen trees to worry about though :D, I think this person is the first ive seen with custom wool trees lol

Lightning can strike you. Being up higher doesn't mean you are more likely to get struck. Lighting has the same chance to hit anywhere, regardless of elevation.

i have certainly seen creeper explosions larger than that so I dont know if they changed it with something recently ?
As for the wool if it is hit it will catch fire, but that wont increase its chance of being hit.
