I indulged in the use of a piston version beforehand, mostly as a way to have long-drops with water breaks without randomly falling in. Pistons regrettably make trapdoors a lot less useful, although they work pretty well for a minecart dispenser.. I have to admit that trapdoors would work a lot better for a foresty look, like it you wanked to make a hobbit-y house underground or something... spiders and creepers will be a pain though.
I know what we SHOULD do is be sarcastic assholes, thus prohibiting noobs from "wasting our time" with their creation threads, regardless of the fact that they are proud of them and want to show them to the community. Maybe then everybody except us ZOMGELITE players will leave these COMMUNITY forums and not ever waste our time again.
However, I refuse to do so.

With the help of a friend I have made a trapdoor entrance to a secret passage under my house. the exit (you have to re cover it every time) which one is the REAL entrance? it only contains a chest for now. but I will add more stuff to it (maybe even a Nether Portal?) it's a one way kinda thing too.
