I just finished a game of Halo: Reach, then decided to play some Minecraft. When I joined my friends world my character started crossing his arms then the game froze for a second and thought it was only a glitch. Then when I started moving I could only move forward, backward, left, and right! I couldn't move the right thumbstick anywhere! I could crouch but couldn't look up, down, left, and right! I tried several controllers, changed the control settings, re-installed Minecraft, played on two other consoles, played my own worlds, but still nothing! I don't know if this is because the newest update or what, but 4J STUDIOS , ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ADVICE!?!
The one thing you didn't do was check your sensitivity in the options menu.
There is a known glitch where your sensitivity gets set to zero for some reason. It makes it to where you cannot look around with the right thumbstick.
Check the sensitivity settings. A friend joined my world and it reset his settings.
He thought he couldn't move, tried different controllers, reseting the xbox, etc.

Kind of sounds like the same thing.
