I only had one problem from that list, and it wasn't even fixed for me. I was looking forward for my huge piston elevator to finally work. Oh well. Don't get me wrong, I guess I'm grateful for the update still. It was just 99% pointless for me, since the only problem I had out of everything they apparently "fixed" was with the pistons. This was arguably the most important on the list too. Thank you for trying, 4J.

What issues are you having with Elevators?.

On the way up, I'm always being pushed out of the elevator at the beginning. I know I have my repeaters set up correctly, and I even tried every different delay setting. I've been told it is due to a bug with the pistons, which was apparently fixed in the most recent update. Unless I have to start a new world for the changes to take effect, I don't know why this still happens. It could just be that I don't have the redstone wiring set up correctly. I am not very good with redstone, but I'm confident that I have it right because I used a tutorial to assist me.
The update today fixed nothing. Im convinced it was a decoy update to help keep everyone calm. It didnt do anything. All of my redstone devices still mess up all the time, even though they are perfect. My pistons still make the flicker that he specifically said they were fixing in the update. The most frustrating thing is when i build a redstone device and it works fine, then when i restart the game it doesnt work anymore. And its not fixable, as in, i cant even rebuild the device elsewhere and get it to work. Some serious issues with this game. Also, just so i can cut some people off at the pass, its not my xbox or my connection. Ive tried on 2 separate connections on two different xbox, one brand new and the other 6 months old, on and offline, and it still wont work consistently.

I've found that by switching off the clocks before saving, my circuits work OK after loading the world again. (I don't have very complex designs, though. A binary counter to 255 using piston t flip flops and redstone torches for displaying the 8 bits is as complex as it gets.) Just put a lever switch on each clock wherever your design allows, and switch them off before saving. (Also wait for all the binary states to stop changing.) See if that helps.
Stop complaining and read the fix for crying out loud.
- Fix for a crash with pistons at the edge of the world
- Fix for a crash due to a thread safety issue usually caused by pistons
- Fix for issue with operating pistons on chunk boundaries
- Fix for a rendering flicker with active pistons
There is no fix for failed elevators, correct on the computer version they may be, but this is the xbox edition.

Lol angry kids. Read child; Fix for a rendering flicker with active pistons.
THAT is the issue for elevators not working. When the block "flickers" it either pushes you or you begin to fall through the block.
Elevators use pretty concise timing and being pushed or pulled randomly affects the timings and for most people just render them useless.

If anyone wants to play Bauldur's Gate (1, 2, or enhanced) or Icewind Dale PLEASE PM me. I'd like to play.
Does anyone know if any of the X-ray glitches have been fixed? I have this annoying cave full of zombies somewhere near my home that I can't seem to find despite digging all sorts of holes looking. I decided to use the TNT+piston glitch to locate the nearby caverns by digging a 4x2x1 trench with one block at the bottom for a step out on one end, two pistons on the other and tnt between me and the pistons. To activate I'm just supposed stand in the hole and jump up and place a red stone torch next to the piston, But When I tried I either get pushed out of the hole or once the TNT went off. Im trying to figure out if I'm doing it wrong or if it's no longer possible because of the new bug fix update.
