When you duplicate a inc sac and make stacks, each stack shows a different item. Magma cream, Empty bottles, Potions, Blaze Powder, Rotten Flesh, Glistering Melons, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised, actually - since the developers know what's going to be in the game, they probably just went ahead and used the textures from the PC version.

I'm just sick of reading about people duping. It's not what i play the game for or anyone else for that matter.
Once creative comes out I'm sure a lot of people might have there first legit world,lol But till then it's like 90+% of the people dupe and are proud of it. Just very annoyed how many post's mention it!
...mind blown that the textures are in game, without being usable like wtf mate lol. But nah about the whole dupe thing, its whatever floats ya boat. I, on the other hand; do not dupe because duping takes forever and ruins the game for me. Like completely.

They needed to include that stuff in the initial release. Their patch updates have a very small max file size limit, and it would be a waste of space to include them in updates if they could just put them in the texture folder for use later.
So by textures is it just items that are in future updates or different textures for items already accessible to us?
It's the textures for things that aren't actually in the game yet. Things like Glass Bottles, Blaze Rods, Netherwart, etc. We'll get them in the next two updates.

They probably included the textures to have base for future updates, and because image files are different than the actual item. They don't have to recode a texture, but they do have to recode the engine and everything in it.
