I'm tired of these Creeper terrorists. Normally I don't mind them because they kinda make the game more suspenseful when you turn around and one is right behind you, but lately it's just been overkill.

I came out of my mine because I needed more pickaxes, but as I looked up I noticed the sky was dark. Okay, no problem. I'll just stay in the mine until daytime. All of a sudden, three Creepers jumped down the hole I was looking through. Two of them blew up and I managed to kill the third one. The top portion of my mine was destroyed; the staircase to get out of it was gone. I jumped up and threw a few cobblestone blocks to seal myself in until I heard them burning from the morning sun. In hindsight, I should have done that in the first place.

It's finally morning, so I began rebuilding my staircase to get out of the mine. I got to the top, unsealed the mine, and turned the corner only to find three Creepers on my front porch and two more maybe six blocks away. I was afraid they would blow up my latest project and my house, so I started running down my mountain to get away from my house and lure them to a place where I could risk an explosion or two while I fight them. I was too late, however, as one of them blew up right on my front porch and a second one blew up the majority of my latest project. Three chased me down the mountain, two exploded and I managed to kill the final Creeper.

I hiked up what is left of my mountain and was pretty devastated by the damage. It's fixable though, so I went back into my mine to gather some more redstone and slime from the slime chunk I mined out. After gathering the materials I needed (and scoring a few diamonds), I began to head back to the surface to undo the damage done by the Creeper raid. I turned the last corner in the cave that leads into the rest of my staircase mine, and a Creeper falls down on me from the ceiling somewhere and blows up, killing me and sending my possessions into a nearby lava pool.

I am having the worst time with these things. I mean I've been attacked by small gangs of Creepers before, but now I have al-Qaeda after me! This is the second time they struck today, but their first major victory...

LOL I never thought of Creepers like that before. They really are suicide bombers

usually they don't bother me, but it does kind of get overwhelming when your dealing with a few at the same time, and if you got a skeleton sniping you all the while, the fight can become pretty one-sided pretty quickly. But it comes with the territory, so buck up kiddo.

Creepers don't bother me. My house is situated in a valley, so any Creepers that get in have to take a plunge off the surrounding mountains. One hit usually kills them.

But, I'll just leave this right here...

I usually keep an eye out for creepers and the like so I dont get snuck up upon by them a lot.

Man I hate the creepers too. I me and my husband had just finished our house and started growing our own private forest when we got swarmed by creepers. He managed to kill a couple of them, but since i was only equipped to build the house and farm I was killed by the hoard and lost half the house in the process. We put up torches surrounding a ten block radius around the house to prevent them from spawning near us, but it hasnt stopped them from coming in once they've spawned. I have had to rebuild the house and the forest about five time in two in game days. Half the time the house just got thrown back together instead of me actually enjoying the concept of designing it. Me and my husband both are anticipating when you can actually draw and hold the bow before firing. it will make killing the creepers easier and it hasnt happened yet.

They're generally not terrible, but lately they seem to explode really far away, I'll knock it away and back off and it'll still explode. I have a few outside areas that are lit up THEN walled off. Aside from the rare spider, I don't get bothered in the crater, and my sky cabin is even more peaceful.

Lately I've had quite a ridiculous time with them. It seems the latest update DRASTICALLY increased monster spawning inside dark areas. I have noticed this just from playing before and after the update on different world and from the massive increase in my grinder yield (Especially Gunpowder).

Its really getting quite ridiculous, as they spawn in large packs and seem to have become alot more crafty in sneaking up on you...

I'm almost ashamed to say that my new world is on Peaceful because of this nightmare...

creepers need to be dumbed down a lot. there are times that i want to drop kick a baby because of them!!

Peaceful mode might help you. But then again... I'll be there.

i don't think they die they just teleport and it causes an explosion.....

I don't get killed by creeper explosions often because of armor. What irritated me is striking them far enough from me that their explosion SHOULD cancel, but it doesn't and I have to make repairs. I do notice my mob system has some nice payout, but at night, the amount of enemies I see from my cabin is pretty ridiculous, especially creepers.

Creepers need love. Give them a hug.

We've posted signs "Creeper Canyon" on one of the maps. Everyday there's at least a half dozen waiting there for you. The canyon is riddled with creeper holes, so it's extra challenging to wrangle more than one at a time.

I bug the **** out of my girlfriend because I have a habit of getting pissed off and just leaving a hole in the side of a house or in the middle of the road. "I'll fix it later" means she'll fill it full of dirt after falling in it, or waking up to zombies munching on her at night.

I think I may get her killed more often than she does.

I prefer worlds with large forest areas. They're green. Creepers also are green. Much of my world looks like the surface of the moon now.

Creepers seem to despawn at noon. I've never encountered a creeper outside after noon except when it emerged from a nearby cave.

I've never really had a problem with creepers. But my friends always seem to get into trouble, usually outside of my house because they take years to make a little castle. (And i mean little)

They've been such a nuisance lately. They explode 10 blocks away from me. They are one of the most stupid mobs so they are willing to jump of a cliff to get you. Its Raining creepers hallelujah.
