A little while ago I tried to load up my main worlds save but all it does is freeze before even trying to load. I have the save on my USB and hardrive but the USB save is more current then the harddrive one. Is there any way I can get the USB one back? I have over 8 hours of work into it.
This happened to me too. I restored an old save, didn't know of any other way to fix it. I save religiously now, and never go more than an hour or so without backing up... so I don't lose 8 hours of work. It sucks because you have to exit the game, go to Xbox dashboard Settings and copy the file from there... then go back to the game and carry on.
Your only hope is that this coming bug fix remedies whatever caused your world to corrupt. But I wouldn't count on it.
