BUT as the computer version and xbox version progress mojang/4j are trying to incorporate mods as part of the game and then they wouldnt be considered mods anymore but another part of the game
This would never happen because the mod makers aren't associated with mojang. There for its not their's to make into a expansion. They would have to cut a deal with the mod makers and the technic people cant even do this. So imagine if a company wanted to come in and get paid for others work. Not going to happen.

Guess you have never run a business..... Sub contractors happen all the time. You hire a builder to build your house, he hires a plumber to fit pipes, you pay the builder for the job, the builder pays the plumber for his work.Translation Mojang hires S4J to programme the xbox, S4J hires a mod maker for tekk and guess what you pay for it.

Except the programers that programmed Tekkit don't know how to code Xbox. I'll use your example for this. I hire a plumber from 80 years ago and I see if he can do the plumbing for a modern day mansion. Now my plumbing is screwed up even more.
Well people on PC can sell them for money, but for xbox its different, even if we could get pre-existing mods, they still have to be programmed in the game, and modding the xbox is not allowed in Tos. But if the Dev puts it in the game its fine, because its meant to be there. but they don't work for free, its a add-on, sorta like skins, u will probably still have to pay for them.

Sorry for double posting:
Yea, and 4j made perfect dark on N64 witch probably didn't use C++ and they helped with Minecraft PC, witch uses Java, and they probably helped with the phone version which I won't even attempt to guess what code it uses.

"The struggle of survival is a war without end, and war – war never changes." -Ron Perlman in Fallout.
If they don't/ can't do tekkit (which it sounds like they can't) I would like to see some dlc mods along those lines. Something like adding new ores, new machines and new blocks. While yes I understand the odds of any of that happening are slim to nil, especially in the near future, any new addition would be a welcomed addition in my eyes.
Agree if we can't get Tekkit then something similar would be great. This way 4j can still go their own way. Its a win/win
Didn't the Yogscast get into trouble for making Tekkit in the first place? I thought they didn't get permission from all the original mod creators to put Tekkit together.
I don't need to know how big it is. There's no reason to pay for an expansion that some may not even understand the concept or many may not like to use.

Yea, if you made a mod and the developers of the game came to you asked for permission to use it on console would you let them.
Read a few of the earlier posts.
They explain it costs 4j to make the mode.
PC users make mods themselves. Thats why they are free. Its completely fair actually.

You are not allowed to sell PC mods for money.
Because it is and no one is as cynical as you.

Do you know how big Tekkit is?
