why in the world would you pay half of what the game cost for a free expansion that it wont take long to program in
Its not a free expansion. Its also not a small one. Its a large amount of content that would take a long while to bring over. I realize that you THINK its free content because you didn't pay for it on PCMC. I can assure you that the ONLY reason they did not charge you for that content is because it would have been illegal for them to do so. Mojang did not release rights to anyone other than 4J to make money from their IP. They can't sell Tekkit on PC because they'd be sued. 4J CAN sell it. Well, more accurately they can sell something like it. While the creators of Tekkit do not actually own any rights to the mod, (as a result of not being given rights to create and sell anything for minecraft) it could get a little touchy in regard to being an exact copy. For example, technically no mod creators have rights to any of the mods they create. Its not their property. But a mod creator MIGHT be able to pull off a case in court based on the lack of any kind of punishment being given to them all this time. See, if you catch someone painting on your wall you can call the cops. But if you LET the person paint your wall for 2 years...THEN call the cops the court could decide that you allowing it to happen for 2 years was the same as permission. It doesn't give you rights to the wall. But it does mean they can't sell your wall painting because they allowed you to create it which means that you are allowed to make a share of any profits from it.
It mostly depends on the judge. But no one really wants to get into a legal battle. Its a waste of resources fighting with people who have done nothing but great things for the game over the years. Not really a good choice. That isn't to say that the Tekkit guys WOULD fight over it. Or that 4J would steal it. But that its better to use Tekkit as a foundation for their own content that is unique instead of causing a stir anyway. Legal logic. You can be inspired by something without paying your inspiration for it.
I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who wants tekkit this badly I don't have a pc so I can't get MCPC and $20 is a lot cheaper than a pc capable of running MC decently
Most things that are DLC's on xbox360 are free on the PC.
To get Tekkit to the Xbox360 they'll have to update Minecraft to date, then add the 40 or so mods witch is bigger then the game. Have a fun time waiting for Tekkit. Ill go back to playing it for free on the PC.

microsoft isnt all about money you just dont understand the cost to make a game and then to sell it for 60 new when it cost at least $20,000 to make.also they make the games on demand cheaper than the game its self. i am older than you so i am much wiser and know better than to just hate on any one who posts agents tekkit. it wont happen, if you think it will come hold your breath till it dose

mojang did not make us pay for skins and stuff, they allowed ppl to do it.
i would pay around 5 dollars for it because i love tekkit i lay it on the PC but we couldn't because it would becouse so much lag that your Xbox would crash

Tekkit is not a mod it is a combination of mods compiled together or in simple terms a mod pack. The Tekkit devs own none of the mods.
And to anyone that thinks this is gonna happen just no by time they ported the mods to xbox 1.2.3 the xbox version would be past that. There's also the fact that it adds a ton of extra controls which the xbox controller can't have.

Why can't it have extra controls?

The most that would happen is 4J giving their equivalent of it, and make it fit the game better.

Dude we are not talking about a global problem here. We're talking about a mod as a DLC.
